While researching a natural remedy recently, I ran across a natural cure for abnormal body fat: Toxic chemicals play a major role in the hypothalamus gland and our hormone functions. It has been found to have a direct link to abnormal fat and where it is stored. So, whether you’ve been trying to lose that last few pounds or are obese, there is research showing that toxic chemicals play a major role in why we are overweight. The good news is that it’s not your fault and yes, there is something you can and should do about it.
You begin by not letting toxic chemicals into your body, with what you eat and drink along with what gets on your skin.
Skin is the largest organ in our body. What ever you put on your skin is absorbed into the bloodstream and adversely effect the glands and organs. They also block the pores of the skin, which reduces the bodies ability to naturally detoxify. Thus leading to internal imbalances and mixed up hormonal signals.
Who is effected? You! Have we been told? Yes, but not by mainstream media—and many who tried were shouted down and even called a number of names from nuts to some that can’t be mentioned here.
From the Center for Disease Control — National Toxicology Program, 20 years of peer-reviewed studies:
- Synthetics in skin / hair care and household products can cause birth defects, learning disorders, obesity, children’s cancers, inflammatory diseases
- Ingredients in shampoos, dyes, detergents & sunscreens may be mixing up your hormonal signals
This all leads to health problems, lower metabolism, and obesity. Three of the most deadly ingredients to avoid are mineral oil, propylene glycol, and sodium laureth sulfate. These are all deadly poisons. Read the labels on products in your home—from your personal products to household cleaners. Even your pet and baby products. Both of these are also toxic dumping grounds. Many advise us to reduce the amount you put on or expose your skin to.
If you do choose to continue putting these products on your skin, (which is most of us) use Toxic-Free ingredients. Also look for 100% organic products. Many doctors around the world believe that the rule of thumb for good health is: If you can’t eat it, don’t put it on your skin.
What I did.
I started making these small changes in my lifestyle. (And I have to admit, I’ve not missed a single item as of yet!) I was amazed at what started coming out of my skin as well as an over all sense of better health and energy. I am ecstatic to know that I can regulate my glands back to normal function and lose the abnormal body fat.
You can do it, too. Get informed. Replace those everyday items that put toxins in your body. Keep following my posts and you’ll learn more about how to determine what ingredients are in your household and if they are safe. I’ll also give you sources to easily replace those products you use everyday.
Live well.
